Brief Profile of The Company
Prasanna Hennayake Holdings (Pvt) Ltd is a company specializing in photography and videography services. During the last 25 years we have built a reputation for being the first choice for many prestigious clients, who require services of this nature in Sri Lanka. Our clients include His Excellency the President of Sri Lanka and former Presidents and Prime Ministers, members of Parliament, High officials in the Government, Well known businessman, Famous Sportsman and Local Celebrities.
We have a team of highly proficient Photographers and Videographers, majority of who have been working for our company from the inception. Our five story office and studio complex owned by the company with a floor area 8000 sq. ft, located in a highly commercial area which Has been presently valued at over 80 million rupees has the following in house facilities:
2 large fully equipped studios
Digital video and photography unit
Video Editing unit
Audio Visual Studio
Laminating, picture framing and album making workshop
Customer service center
Computerized Finance department
In January 2005 a sum of US $100,000 was also invested in updating the two studios and in developing the video, digital printing and computer facilities. |

Key Achievements
My pre eminent achievement is establishing and sustaining a successful photography and videography service providing company, Prasanna Hennayake Holdings Pvt. Ltd for more than 25 years (profile of company attached herewith). In 2007 I achieved a rare feat by covering more than 15000 weddings since I first started covering weddings in 1979.
In an effort to educate and inform the public I have appeared on numerous photography shows, talk shows and other television programmes over 10 years. I have for many years trained soldiers with minor injuries at no cost, on photography.
It is with pride I disclose that I have been able to successfully branch out in pursuing event management for 2 years as the Director of Special Events to our present President His Excellency Mahinda Rajapakse.
Early Experience
1980-1982 : Press photographer at Lake House
1982-1984 : Press photographer at Upali Newspapers
1086-1989 : Became first Sri Lankan photographer to be recruited and trained by Reuters in UK
Sports
• Only photographer from Sri Lanka to capture the Cricket World Cup winning Sri Lanka Vs Australia Finals in Paki stan 1996.
• Official photographer for the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka (1998-2007)
• Official photographer for Sri Lanka National Olympic Committee. (2000-
• Photography coverage of weddings of celebrated Sports persons including Sanath Jayasuriya, Muththaihia Muraitharan, Chaminda Vass and Susanthika Jayasinghe (Olympic Short Distance Athlete)
